David Beckham plugs Samsung Galaxy S3 for Olympics

David Beckham plugs Samsung Galaxy S3 for OlympicsDavid Beckham may have missed out on the chance to represent Team GB at the 2012 Olympics, but Samsung has made sure that he will be participating in another way..... The football legend has just been seen in Samsung’s first Olympics commercial and the new Galaxy S3 takes center stage.

As expected, Beckham’s ability to kick a football with great accuracy is highlighted in the clip, as is the many features of the Samsung Galaxy S3, which should be arriving on the doorsteps of many happy Verizon owners today.

The clip also highlights a few Galaxy S3 features that you may not know about yet, such as the ability to view indoor maps in certain areas. We also see a brief segment to showcase the ‘best photo’ feature of the handset, which will use the clever camera mechanics built into the device to produce the best image.

After reading Samsung’s YouTube description for this video, we found out that David Beckham is actually the company’s ‘official ambassador’ for the Olympics, so if you liked this commercial you can probably expect to see a lot more Galaxy S3 related ads featuring Beckham as the Olympics progresses.

We’ve also read that many of you think that this is currently Samsung’s best commerical to date – would you agree with that? We thought the Galaxy Nexus ads were pretty good, but you can’t beat having a global celebrity like Beckham plugging your products can you?
Check out the clip and let us know your thoughts on it.

Is this the best Samsung ad ever?
We thought David Beckham owned an iPhone.
