iPhone 5 release

IVerizon’s inkling for iPhone 5 releaset looks like even Verizon can’t keep a secret about the upcoming iPhone 5 either. We expect all sorts of information to leak out from these infamous foreign websites via components....
, but now we have some whispers to share with you from even Verizon’s CEO.

Fran Shammo, CEO of the company has apparently said in their most recent conference call that the carrier will launch ‘a major smartphone in the fourth quarter’. While he didn’t specifically mention the Apple iPhone, it’s highly likely that he is talking about the iPhone 5, rather than another Nexus phone from Google.
A Q4 launch would obviously be contrary to the most recent of rumors suggesting that Apple is going to announce the next iPhone at an event in August. However, if anyone is going to have inside knowledge it is surely the CEO of one of the biggest mobile operators in the US.
What can we expect to see though? If you haven’t already indulged yourself in the plethora of spec rumors that are available online, you’ll be pleased to know that the next-gen iPhone is finally going to add support for 4G LTE like the most recent iPad. Fans should also be satisfied with a slightly bigger display, a performance increase thanks to a quad-core processor and a brand new interface to play around with via iOS 6.
Will you be very disappointed if we see the dual-core A5X chip again in the iPhone 5? So far there hasn’t been too many leaks on what processor is going to be used for the next iPhone, so hopefully Apple will finally give in to consumer demand and show off a quad-core chip in an iPhone for the very first time.
What do you make on Verizon’s hints towards the next iPhone? Does Apple’s next device take priority above all Android devices for you?
